Travel

This week's Illustration Friday prompt is 'travel.' Particularly fitting for this time of year, when everything is soggy and a bit grey. There is light at the end of our sludgy winter though; in August we're going to the Gold Coast for a family week of theme park madness.

I'm hoping to put my pasty legs in the sun and win a million dollars at the casino. It's the kind of travel I'm not used to (ie the touristy kind), but even the thought of a new passport and leaving from an airport (to anywhere at all) is incredibly exciting these days.

Hi, Carla, nice to see you again...
and your drawings.
NZ is very rainy in winter, right?
I hope you enjoy your trip to the sun and you win 2 milion dollars, ha ha :)))

Great idea -- love the sense of zooming along on a tiny bit of nature.
